TRANSITIONAL ELEGANCE

Architecture: Jensen Architects
Photography: Wynne H Earle Photography and Holli Dunn

Working closely with these clients – both architects – we designed and renovated several key spaces of the home in the Bear Creek Country Club in the Woodinville wine country, outside Seattle. The contemporary kitchen renovation included a new open layout that features a large quartz-topped island. The design reflects an appreciation of clean, modern lines and elements. The soft color palette and use of a subtly-textured Ann Sacks tile create the perfect backdrop to showcase design features such as the custom walnut bar with live edge, open walnut shelves, and crystal light fixture.

The primary en-suite bathroom is modern, yet warm and inviting. We selected a textural herringbone tile for the floor and a smaller-scale herringbone tile for the accent wall. The new freestanding tub gives the space an organic quality and is the perfect spot to relax in a bubble bath with a glass of local wine. We also designed a curbless walk-in shower with radiant heat flooring to provide warmth for those rainy-day mornings all too frequent in the Pacific Northwest. The custom walnut vanity is complimented by a white quartz top, modern fixtures in a titanium finish, electric mirrors, and feature lighting.
