WOODINVILLE WINE COUNTRY ESTATE

Architecture: Peter Stoner Architects
Photography: Michael Walmsley and Derrick Louie

Traditional "Hamptons" shingle-style architecture meets Pacific Northwest design in this beautiful custom estate. This new construction home is located on five acres and is on the former site of a dairy farm. The house was sited to have a circular driveway around the giant walnut tree and take full advantage of the views of neighboring wetlands and creek.

A collaboration from start to finish with architectural firm Peter Stoner Architecture, the full-service design included schematic design, space planning, furniture layouts, kitchen and bathroom design, selection of all interior and exterior finishes, furniture selections, custom furniture design, lighting design, project management, and installation.

This home was also a personal project, as it was Heather’s own family’s former home near Seattle, Washington. Designing and building it was a dream come true. The project provided invaluable professional experience that Heather now shares with clients in designing their dream homes. She understands how much heart, soul, and financial resources go into the creation of a custom home, and exactly what that process feels like. This home was featured in Seattle Homes magazine and a Seattle AIA home tour.
